LDKS AS TRAINING MEDIA

Several schools in Indonesia certainly want to have students who have a leadership spirit, which is why several schools choose LDKS as their program. LDKS (latihan dasar kepemimpinan siswa) are basic activities about all things related to leadership. This activity is usually guided by competent military personnel.

ldks provide many benefits for students who take them, especially mentally and physically. During the LDKS students will be taught to be responsible, disciplined, firm and independent.  they are also given training to survive such as PBB, self-defense, and obstacle courses

Apart from that, we are also given knowledge about the basics of becoming a leader, how to deal with globalization, avoiding drugs. with ldks we can make new friends so that maintaining solidarity with each other. we can also use the soldiers there as an example to become better individuals.

Besides that, LDKS has very tough training, and several dangerous obstacles that can cause fatal injuries. All students must be prepared to communicate minimally with the outside world, especially their parents, because all communication media will be collected until the event is over. when ldks we can't expect good facilities we have to be able to use whatever is provided

However,  i think LDKS are the right way to build students' character because they have been trained by competent and responsible trainers which will later be useful for their next journey and can be a provision for themselves or others.
